Downloading Compu-Crane

show How can I get a copy of Compu-Crane and how much does it cost?

Compu-Crane is available for download here on our website and is currently free of charge for use with Manitowoc Cranes.
show Which version of Compu-Crane should I download?

If you would like to fully customize Compu-Crane to see only the cranes that you have in your fleet, we recommend that you download "Compu-Crane - No Cranes" and then download a cranepack that has your cranes in it. If you would like a general version that includes all of the cranes in current production that are currently supported by Compu-Crane, please download the "Compu-Crane - Current Production" version.
show When I try to download Compu-Crane, I see "Access Denied." What am I doing wrong?

If you have received the current password for Compu-Crane via email, please try typing it into the box instead of copying and pasting it. Sometimes, email clients will pick up an extra character when a word is selected and copied.
show How do I add cranes to my version of Compu-Crane?

Click here to go to the Crane Download page. You can either browse or search for the cranes you are looking for, download them, and then install them into Compu-Crane.
show Will Compu-Crane run on my Mac?

Currently, Compu-Crane is only offered for PC users. However, we do offer Mobile Lift Wizard in the Apple App Store. Click here for more information.

Customizing Compu-Crane

show We just added a crane to our fleet. How do I add that to Compu-Crane?

If you navigate to the crane models search page you can search for and download additional cranes for use with Compu-Crane.
show What is Rigging Pro, and how do I get a copy?

Rigging Pro is software produced by SkyAzul that enables you to customize your load and import it into Compu-Crane. If you would like more information, or would like to download a trial copy, click here to visit SkyAzul's website.
show I have some cranes from other manufacturers in my fleet, can I add them to Compu-Crane?

Currently, we do not provide cranes by other manufacturers for use with Compu-Crane. However, if you have an older version of our software that included other cranes, and you would like to upgrade without losing them, please contact us, and we can help you.
show I don't see my crane in your download list, can you add it?

Please contact us to let us know which crane we are missing, and we will do our best to make it available.

Compu-Crane Troubleshooting

show What versions of Compu-Crane do you support?

We will always do our best to support any version of our software. In some cases, you will need to upgrade so that you may take full advantage of our latest version. Please contact support so that we can assist you.
show I tried to install my cranepack and I got an Access Denied error. How do I fix this?

If you are running Windows Vista or higher, you will need to run the installer as an administrator for it to install properly. This can be done by right-clicking on the file and selecting Run as administrator...
show Why does Compu-Crane tell me that outrigger calculations aren't available for my crane?

There are three reasons you could see this error. Either the outrigger files are not installed, the outrigger directory is not set, or the crane you've selected is not supported. Make sure that you have downloaded the outrigger files and installed them, and set the proper outrigger directory. Also make sure that you are currently using a GMK crane, as other brands are not currently supported by this function.
show Can you help me find my cranes? I installed a cranepack and I can't find them.

The first step is to reset your crane list. This can be done from the crane selection menu by clicking Help > Reset Crane List. If you've done this, and you still can't see your cranes, please contact support, and we will be glad to assist you further.
